Grill For Good
Given the rising cost of living more people are turning to Rosies for food assistance alongside a cuppa and a chat. In order to meet the needs of the community we have transitioned to provide more food offerings. 4 times a week we provide a meal for people who are experiencing homelessness, disadvantage, or hardship which helps to mitigate cost of living pressures.
Our Toowoomba team needs a new BBQ trailer to better serve the vulnerable across our community and we need your help.
We are calling on the local community to help us secure the remaining funds for this BBQ trailer, but we won’t be doing it alone. Asia Pacific Aerospace (APA) has pledged to match every campaign donation made between 22 April and 9 May to the value of $10,000 – doubling your impact!

Help make a difference
Our volunteers are experiencing an average increase in outreach attendance of 35% and we expect this number to grow as we approach the colder months.
Our current BBQ trailer struggles to meet the needs of the growing number of people who rely on us for food assistance.

Asia Pacific Aerospace (APA) one of the most advanced gas turbine engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) companies in the Asia Pacific region.
They believe in the importance of giving back to the communities where they live, work, and play. Since 2020, as a Principal Partner, APA has worked alongside Rosies to fund essential training for volunteers, new outreach vehicles and ensure that Rosies can continue to meet the growing needs of the communities they serve.
APA has also positively impacted the lives of the young people Rosies volunteers engage with through the provision of School Book Packs, Excursion Fees, and Lunch Box snacks through the Kela Foundation.
APA continues to look for ways to support the mission of Rosies, with a number of their staff volunteering their time and providing community and connection to those in need.

Where does my donation go?
Your donation directly funds the new BBQ trailer in Toowoomba, ensuring we can continue to provide connection and support to those experiencing homelessness and social isolation. This custom trailer has been designed with the community and our volunteers in mind ensuring they have access to everything they need to feed the community safely.
What happens if we reach our goal before 9 May?
All money raised from this campaign stays within the Toowoomba community. If we reach our goal before 9 May the money is held in reserve to help fund outreach items, maintain the Toowoomba vans, and support anything else the branch might need.
