What is Rosies?
Our Story
Rosies- Friends on the Street is a Queensland based charity that has been showing up for people experiencing homelessness, loneliness, and social isolation for almost 40 years. Through regular street and community outreach, Rosies volunteers share friendship, a warm drink, and genuine conversation with people who are often overlooked or forgotten.
Rosies is built on the simple belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and connected. Our outreach teams head out night after night across Queensland, meeting people where they are and offering presence without judgement.

There are many ways to show up with Rosies beyond Rosies, Not Roses. You can make a donation to support nightly outreach across Queensland, volunteer your time to share friendship and connection on the street, or get involved in events like the Rosies Long Lunch that help fund our work year round.
